Warranty Policy

LIMITED PARTS WARRANTY ON SERIAL 1 PRODUCTS – EUROPE

Serial 1 grants you a warranty subject to the following provisions in the event of a defect in material and/or workmanship of Serial 1 eBikes and Serial 1 eBikes spare parts during the warranty period.

  1. Who does this Warranty apply to?

Serial 1 Cycle Company, LLC (“we” or “Serial 1”), located at 3451 North Triumph Boulevard, Suite 100, Lehi, Utah 84043, USA, extends this warranty only to (a) the consumer who originally purchased the Product, and/or (b) any person to whom the Product is transferred during the applicable Warranty Period, but only if such person has a copy of the original proof of purchase received by the consumer who originally purchased the Product (“you”).

  1. Where is this Warranty valid?

This limited warranty is valid for Products purchased in Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands.

  1. What does this Warranty cover?

This warranty covers defects in materials of Serial 1 eBicycles and Serial 1 eBicycle replacement parts (each, a “Product”) purchased from Serial 1 or an authorized retailer for the Warranty Period (Section 5) below. For avoidance of doubt, Product packaging is not subject to this warranty. 

Serial 1 covers first party parts produced by Serial 1 for a period of 2 years starting from date of purchase.

Third party brand parts (Carbon Gates, Enviolo, Brose, TRP/Tektro) are covered by the third party manufacturers.

  1. What does this Warranty not cover?

This warranty does not cover any damage due to: (a) abuse, neglect, or intentional damage; (b) transportation (after the initial delivery of the Product by Serial 1); (c) storage; (d) improper use; (e) failure to follow the Product instructions or failure to perform preventive maintenance; (f) modifications; (g) unauthorized repair; (h) installation of parts other than Serial 1 parts or their equivalent (as approved by Serial 1); (i) corrosion and normal wear and tear; or (j) external causes such as accidents, abuse, or other actions or events beyond our reasonable control; (k) water damage; and (l) physical damage. Labor fees for diagnostics or installation of any repaired part, replacement part, or bike maintenance are not covered by the warranty.

  1. What is the Warranty Period?

This limited warranty starts on the date of purchase by the distributor / dealer and lasts for the period set forth below (the “Warranty Period”). THE WARRANTY PERIOD IS NOT EXTENDED IF WE REPAIR OR REPLACE THE PRODUCT. ALSO, THE WARRANTY PERIOD DOES NOT START ANEW WITH RESPECT TO THE REPLACED PART OR THE REPLACED PRODUCT. Only the warranty conditions valid at the time of purchase apply.

  1. What are your remedies under this Warranty?

With respect to any defective Product during the Warranty Period, we will, in our sole discretion, either repair or replace such Product (or the defective part) with a functional equivalent. We will also pay for reasonable one-way shipping fees to send the repaired or replacement Product to you if it is being provided by Serial 1.

  1. How do you obtain Warranty service?

To make a claim under this warranty, you must, within the applicable Warranty Period, initiate a warranty claim by visiting https://serial1.com/pages/ticket and filling out and submitting our Warranty Request Form. If you have warranty service questions, or if you would like help with completing a Warranty Request Form, please contact us at Support@Serial1.com for assistance.

After you submit the Warranty Request Form, we will review your claim and contact you via phone or email to provide additional instructions. We may also ask you for additional information about your claim.

  1. Further Rights

In addition to the above warranty, you are entitled to the statutory rights, in particular the statutory rights in respect of defects. The statutory rights can be claimed free of charge and are not limited by this warranty.
